If a recipe for bread made in a bread machine calls for bread flour can regular white flour be ok to use?

you can but the structure of the bread will not be the same as in the bread made with AP flour will be softer. as the other poster said bread flour has more protein, so more gluten will develope so the bread will be a bit more firm.If a recipe for bread made in a bread machine calls for bread flour can regular white flour be ok to use?
By regular I assume that you are talking about All Purpose? Bread flour has a higher protien content. this what makes gluten adn makes the bread chewy. Get a bag of bread flour, its only a few cents more.
