I misplaced my book ,and it is the best banana bread I have ever madeDoes anyone have the toll house recipe for banana bread??
Banana Bread
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas
Preheat oven to 350掳.
Lightly grease 9 x 5 loaf pan.
In large bowl, combine flour, soda and salt.
In separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar.
Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended.
Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 60-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center of loaf comes out clean.
Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.
Or try something different
Sour Cream Banana Bread
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sour cream
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup chopped nuts (omit if you don't like nuts)
Grease 1 large loaf pan.
Cream margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients, then bananas, nuts and sour cream.
Mix well.
Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.

Banana Nut Bread is a great way to start the morning. Save your ripe bananas for this recipe by peeling and storing them in the freezer.

Ingredients:
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups NESTL脡庐 CARNATION庐 Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 large eggs
3 1/2 cups (about 7 medium) mashed very ripe bananas
2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 350掳 F. Grease two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans.
COMBINE flour, dry milk, baking powder and cinnamon in medium bowl. Beat eggs, bananas, sugar and oil in large mixer bowl on medium speed. Gradually beat in flour mixture; stir in nuts. Spoon into prepared pans.
BAKE for 60 to 65 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in centers comes out clean. Cool in pans on wire racks for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

sure this is how I was taught to make this:

2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas or if you don't want to use real bananas u can use banana flavor
I'm really good at it, the people i know love it so hopefully you will too!!!
